Like the Scénic and Grand Scénic, the Renault Kadjar sees its range slightly evolve for the 2020 model year. The entry-level Life finish disappears for the Zen version, which increases the access price of the SUV to € 28,000 .
After the Clio and the duo of Scénic and Grand Scénic people carriers , it’s the Renault Kadjar’s turn to undergo a slight overhaul of its range before the new year. For the Kadjar 2020, Renault decides as for its minivans to remove the entry-level Life to open the catalog with the Zen finish.
The entry level evolves
Thus, the Kadjar with the 1.3 TCe 140 now starts at € 28,000, against € 26,200 since the restyling in March 2019. The limited Wave series has been replaced by a special “Graphite” series, which uses the same principle. Above, we find, as on all the models in the Losange range, the Intens finish, then another special Black Edition series which is distinguished above all by its Alcantara look and upholstery. The ESF limited series (for French Ski School) is renewed, but its price increases by a few hundred euros.
On the engine side, the catalog is not moving: the 1.3 petrol 140 hp in 6-speed manual or EDC automated gearbox remains, followed by the 1.3 TCe 160 hp only available in EDC now . The diesel part is provided by two blocks: the Blue dCi of 115 and 150 hp. The 115 hp is available with the manual gearbox or the EDC double clutch gearbox, while the 150 hp is not offered in a robotic gearbox, but it does have all-wheel drive. Note that this engine becomes available in traction.
